Good solid product. Easy to use and plenty of space for my cigars. It seems to be holding humidity well. I was recommended this product by some friends and I sure as heck will recommend this unit to friends and strangers alike. Good job NEEDONE.
The inside smells a little bit like plastic while it's running.The light inside doesn't really illuminate anything once you have your cigars in place. The humidification tray is way too bulky it takes up too much space, space that can be used for more sticks. Overall this is a great beginner's electric cooling humidor that is budget-friendly, easy to use, and is very sleek and stylish.
Could use additional LED lights in the box to truly show off the collection without having to open the door. If racks were a tad bit longer that would also be great. Again, I am extremely picky and I am super pleased and cannot brand enough on the customer service! I hope to purchase more products and reviews soon!
As far as price, I still think the unit could be cheaper due to the prices of competition units twice the size being about the same price as this. Either way. If you get this unit you will not be disappointed with much other than maybe the price and the fact that the inside light/hygrometer is useless. I added some LED lights to mine as pictured and it looks really good.
I tested this out for 3 weeks before posting my review. I let it season for a week with some packs. I keep my rather expensive cigars in here now, so I don’t have to constantly move them around in my upper door. It holds the temp and humidity very nicely. I used my cigar medic on a few sticks after letting them rest and they all were in perfect range. This is a great starter humidor or one where you want to keep your nicer not everyday smokes.
